BLACK WIDOW 1ST TRAILER REVIEW

Now, Black Widow has a new launch window. We also have confirmation on whether it will be released simultaneously in theaters and on Disney Plus, as well as some other new snippets of information. Realistically, the film can't afford any more setbacks, otherwise Marvel's whole Phase 4 plan will be thrown out of whack, so Black Widow needs to arrive sooner rather than later.

I guess Walt Disney couldn’t let Warner Bros. have all the fun. I’m not sure what’s up with these Saturday trailer drops, but we know have a new trailer for Marvel’s Black Widow. By default, there’s not much here which we haven’t already seen in previous trailers, which is partially why the teaser opens with a brief “remember these other Avengers movies” montage.

MARVEL ' LOKI '  SERIES TRAILER REVIEW

This was never supposed to be the MCU event of last summer or even this summer, merely unfinished business in terms of giving Scarlett Johansson her own solo Natasha Romanoff movie despite her character dying in Avengers: Endgame.

Marvel Studios dropped a new trailer for Black Widow yesterday

“You don’t know everything about me, I’ve lived a lot of lives,” Scarlett Johansson’s character Natasha Romanoff declares in the two minute teaser. “I made mistakes choosing between what the world wants you to be, and who you aThe movie is set after the events of Captain America: Civil War, where Romanoff must confront her history in order to face imminent threats. The trailer hints at the “unfinished business” and secrets of her past, before she became an Avenger, and having to go back to “where it all started.”

SHANG -CHI : THE LEGEND OF TEN OF TEN RINGS MOVIE TEASER TRAILER

The Black Widow movie is now slated for a July 9, 2021 release. The film had already seen its launch date pushed back to May 7, 2021 after its initial May 2020 arrival was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Cate Shortland-directed superhero pic also stars Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, William Hurt as Thaddeus Ross, and David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov and the Red Guardian.

This is Marvel, after all, a studio well known for not giving away unnecessary plot details. However, with Black Widow being such a popular character – along with the fact MCU movies tend to get sequels – we can’t help wondering if this will be an excuse to bring the deceased Natasha Romanoff back into the wider Marvel continuity, much like Endgame provided a way back for Tom Hiddleston’s Loki.
