Harlem Bespoke: We broke the news that a chicken waffle cone restaurant would be arriving in Harlem back in December and fast-casual restaurant actually opened this past weekend. This food shop appears to be a good commercial fit for the neighborhoods since the storefront at the corner of 129th on Lenox had a small line of people inside even though they just opened. A basic waffle cone of fried chicken chunks goes for $8.89 and is actually a decent deal for this amount of food. Also diners can choose from 5 sauces which includes sweet cinnamon-maple, traditional barbecue, buffalo blue, yella BBQ, ranch or peri peri.
Chick'nCone is a actually a franchise with many locations in the country and has been popular for a good reason. Everything is fresh and just eating the fried chicken this way is super easy for those on the go. The above photo is the barbecue drizzle but folks can also request for the sauce on the side. We actually would love a hot honey option but will try out the sweet maple syrup next time around. More news on Chick'nCone in Harlem can be found in our past post: LINK
